HMD Global on Tuesday announced the global sale of its Nokia 8.3 5G. The smartphone is available for a global average of price of Eur 599 ( ₹51,700 approximately). The company is also bundling a free 6-month trial of Google One with the latest handset.

HMD Global had unveiled Nokia 8.3 in March this year alongside Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5310 phones. The smartphone, however, had not been available in all the markets. One of the highlights of Nokia 8.3 is the highest number of 5G new radio bands on board, ranging from 600MHz to 3.8GHz.

“Today also marks the global sales start of the highly anticipated Nokia 8.3 5G. Showcasing the commitment to security, speed and innovation by meeting the demands of the world's toughest customers – MI6 agents – the Nokia 8.3 5G is the smartphone of choice by the newest 00 agent in the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die, premiering this November,” said HMD Global in a release.

Nokia 8.3 5G specifications

Nokia 8.3 5G measures 171.90 x 78.56 x 8.99 mm and weighs around 220 grams. It sports a 6.81-inch full HD+ PureDisplay with 20:9 aspect ratio.

For performance, Nokia 8.3 5G relies upon Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 6GB/128GB LPDDR 4x RAM and 64GB/128GB built-in storage. It also supports microSD card slot for additional storage. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery.

In the camera department, Nokia 8.3 5G comes with a quad-rear camera setup featuring 64 MP sensor, 12 MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens, 2 MP depth sensor and 2 MP sensor with a macro lens. Other key features of the camera include dual high CRI rear flesh. The phone also has a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera setup also has Zeiss Optics.

Other important features of the phone include FM radio receiver, Ozo audio, and a dedicated button to Google Assistant.
