Oppo is set to launch the Oppo Reno 7 series on February 4, 2022 in India, with its flagship Reno 7 Pro. The company confirmed that its flagship smartphones - Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 7 5G will be launched under the series. Now, Oppo has revealed that the Reno 7 Series will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max chipset. It comprises the 3GHz Arm Cortex-A78 and is said to achieve up to 5100Mbps peak downlink and 700Mbps uplink speeds. The 5G MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX has one of the fastest smartphone CPUs, Oppo mentioned.

Oppo Reno 7 Feature and specs

In addition to the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max chipset, the Reno7 Pro 5G also houses a top-of-the-line X-Axis Linear Motor for the gaming experience. The company mentioned that it comes with a touch sampling rate of up to 1000Hz. For charging, the phone incorporates a 65W fast-charging feature that promises to charge the phone to its full capacity in 31 minutes. The Reno 7 series comes with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. Though, Oppo mentioned that the RAM Expansion technology allows users to borrow an additional 3GB, 5GB or 7GB from storage capacity to work as RAM.

The Reno 7 series will run on the Oppo ColorOS 12. Also, the operating system features Anti-Peeping for Notifications, which hides the notification content when the phone detects someone else looking at your screen when messages pop up. The phone comes with a triple camera setup. This comprises the Sony IMX709 Ultra-Sensing sensor, which has a resolution of 32MP, and the Sony IMX766 camera, which has a resolution of 50MP.

Expected Oppo Reno 7 price

Ahead of the launch of the Oppo Reno 7 series in India, several leaks suggested the expected price of the smartphone. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore revealed that the Oppo Reno 7 is expected to be priced at Rs. 29,990 for its 8GB RAM and 256GB memory variant. While Oppo Reno 7 Pro with its 12GB RAM and 256GB memory is expected to be launched at the price of Rs. 39,990. Though, these are just the expected prices for the OppO Reno 7 series, official prices will be revealed on the launch day of the smartphone.
