Poco M2 Pro launched in India: Check price, specifications, features

Xiaomi's Poco has officially launched M2 Pro in India. The smartphone ticks all the boxes for a budget smartphone as it offers Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G chip and 48-megapixel quad-rear camera. Check full specs, price, and other features.

Poco is back with a new smartphone. With Poco M2 Pro, Poco is now venturing into the budget segment, a space that is dominated by parent Xiaomi's Redmi. Samsung and Realme are also major players in the cluttered sub ₹15,000 space.

Poco M2 Pro comes in three variants - 4/64GB, 6/64GB and 6/128GB storage variants. The base model is priced at ₹13,999. The second variant is priced at ₹14,999. The top-end model costs ₹16,999. The first sale will take place on July 14, 12 noon on Flipkart. 

The phone comes in three colour options: Out of the Blue, Green and Greener, and Two Shades of Black.

Poco M2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080p resolution. The phone comes with P2i nano-coating, splash and dust resistance. For further protection, Poco offers Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, back, and rear camera.

Poco M2 Pro bets big on performance as it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor coupled. The phone comes in three RAM and storage combinations – 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. It has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. The phone comes with a 33W charger out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It also features India's NavIC navigation system.

Another highlight of the phone is the quad-camera setup. This consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera comes with a bunch of modes such as Pro Colour Mode, Pro Video Mode, RAW Mode, and LOG Mode. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
