Realme C20A with 5000mAh battery, 6.5-inch display to launch soon
The smartphone will join the C-series, which features C20, C21 and C25.
Realme will soon launch a new version of the C20 handset. Dubbed as the Realme C20A, the phone will be available in Bangladesh first. There is no word on when the phone will launch in other markets.
Realme has confirmed the C20A will come with a 6.5-inch display and a 5,000mAh battery. The company has not disclosed other specifications yet.
Realme had launched the C20 in India last month. Priced at ₹6,999, the handset is also the most affordable one in the new lineup. The phone comes in two colour options – grey and blue.
In terms of specifications, Realme C20 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ notched display. The smartphone runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Realme C20 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4x digital zoom. It houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 3P lens. Some of the top camera features include night mode, panoramic view, timelapse, portrait mode, HDR, AI Beauty, and chroma boost.
The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh supports with support for reverse charging. In terms of connectivity, the Realme C20 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, dual SIM, micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, Realme C20 runs realme UI based on Android 10.
Separately, Realme will launch a Realme X7 Max later this month. The phone was slated to debut today, but the launch was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. According to reports, the handset is a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo. The phone will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood and a 120Hz Super AMOLED display.
