Realme is going to launch the Realme X7 Max later this month. The initial plan was to launch it today, May 4, but the company decided to push back the launch due to the ongoing pandemic. While Realme has not announced new dates yet, new products, including the Realme X7 Max, should be announced later this month. However, while we wait, here's what we know about the Realme X7 Max so far.

According to reports, the Realme X7 Max is expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo that launched on March 31 in China. And besides that, pictures of what is supposed to be the retail box for the Realme X7 Max has been leaked on Twitter and that gives us an idea about what is coming. The image was shared by one @Gadgetsdata and the image confirms the Realme X7 Max name and a few other details. Going by the image on Twitter, the Realme X7 Max is going to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood and a 120Hz Super AMOLED display.

The Realme GT Neo also came with these features so this adds weight to the possibility that the Realme X7 Max might indeed be a rebranded Realme GT Neo. The person sharing the image of the retail box also mentioned in the tweet that the Realme X7 Max looks similar to the Realme X7 and the Realme X7 Pro that was launched in India a few months ago. If these tips are speculations are anything to go by, and the Realme X7 Max IS indeed a rebranded Realme Neo GT - here's what you can expect from it.

The Realme GT Neo was launched with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. On the camera front, the Realme GT Neo came with a 64MP primary shooter along with an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There's a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies. The Realme GT Neo was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and ran Android 11 out-of-the-box. The smartphone was launched with upto 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. For power, there is a 4,500mAh battery and support for 50W fast charging. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
