Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi today launched the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone in India. The newly launched Redmi 10 Prime smartphone is a rebranded version of the Redmi 10 smartphone, which the company launched in other global markets earlier this year. However, a key difference between the two phones is that of the battery. The Redmi 10 Prime comes with a bigger 6,000mAh battery compared to the Redmi 10 smartphone, which comes with a smaller 5,000mAh battery.
The launch of the Redmi 10 Prime follows the launch of the Redmi Note 10 series in India earlier this year.

Redmi 10 Prime price and offers
The newly launched Redmi 10 Prime has been launched in India at a price of ₹12,499 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space-variant. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM and 128GB memory variant is available in India at a price of ₹14,499.
Redmi 10 Prime will be available for purchase in India starting 12PM on September 7 via Amazon, Mi Home, Mi Studio and other retail outlets in Astral White, Phantom Black and Bifrost Blue. Interested buyers can avail instant discounts on the purchases made using HDFC Bank Credit Cards and Credit Card EMIs.
Redmi 10 Prime specs
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi 10 Prime features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AdaptiveSync display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 system-on-chip that is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The newly launched Redmi 10 Prime smartphone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box.
Coming to the camera, the Redmi 10 Prime sports a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. On the front, the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
For connectivity, the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone has a 3.5mm headphones jack, dual speakers, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging and 9W reverse charging technology.
