You will not have to wait longer for Samsung’s new Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01. The two new budget smartphones are landing in India as early as June 2. Samsung has already begun building hype around the phone through official teasers. Its e-commerce partner Flipkart has also started accepting ‘notify me’ registrations for the phones.
According to a Flipkart listing page (on mobile), Samsung Galaxy M11 and M01 will start selling from June 2 12noon. The listing confirms Galaxy M11 will have a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O Display and a 5,000mAh battery. It further confirms Galaxy M01 will have a 4,000mAh battery and 13-megapixel dual cameras.
Galaxy M11, M01: Here’s what we know so far
Samsung had showcased the Galaxy M11 for the UAE market in March this year. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch display with HD+ resolution. It runs on an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The phone houses as many as three cameras on the back. The rear camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel sensor, and a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor. The Galaxy M11 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Galaxy M11 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other top features of the phone include Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and VoLTE.
Samsung’s Galaxy M11 is said to be priced at ₹10,999 for the base model. There could be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, priced at ₹12,999.
Next up is Galaxy M01. The phone has been leaked multiple times already. According to reports, Galaxy M01 will have a 5.71-inch display with HD+ resolution. The smartphone is said to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. It is going to have a 4,000mAh battery.
Galaxy M01 is said to come with two rear cameras featuring a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone will have a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Some of the top features expected from M01 are Dolby Atmos for audio, OneUI, and Face Unlock support.
