Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch in August this year. Here's what to expect from the upcoming phone.

Samsung is reportedly working on the successor to its popular smartphone, Galaxy S20 FE. The new ‘Fan Edition’ will be a more affordable version of the Galaxy S21. A new report now suggests that the smartphone will enter mass production in July, just a month before its expected launch. Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch in August this year. It looks like the Galaxy S21 FE will be part of Samsung’s Unpacked event in August where we’ll most likely see a new foldable phone as well.

Galaxy S21 FE is said to come in four colour options of gray, light green, light violet and white. Galaxy S20 FE also has a colourful set of options so it won’t be surprising to see its successor offered in different colours.

In terms of design, it will look like the Galaxy S21 based on leaked renders. It will feature a punch-hole display and three rear cameras. It has been suggested that the Galaxy S21 FE may have a ‘Glastic’ back panel with a shiny metal frame. It’s interesting to see if Samsung keeps the rear camera the same colour as the rest of the phone.

In terms of specs, Galaxy S21 FE is said to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, and it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor. The smartphone will most likely come in two storage options of 128GB and 256GB. Galaxy S21 FE is also expected to run on Android 11 with One UI layered on top, and pack a 4,500mAh battery.
