Vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in China. It's the Vivo Y30G, and it comes with a MediaTek Helio chipset, 8GB of RAM and dual rear cameras. Vivo Y30 has a notched display, and it comes in three colour options of Obsidian Black, Dawn White, and Aqua Blue.

In terms of specs, Vivo Y30G features a 6.51-inch LCD HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage, and supports expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. It also comes with Multi-Turbo 5.0 and Game Box 9.0 for enhanced gaming performance.

In the photography department, Vivo Y30G sports a dual-camera setup at the rear featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Vivo Y30G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The smartphone is claimed to charge to 68% in one hour. On the software front, it runs Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 layered on top. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.

Vivo Y30G is priced CNY 1,499 which translates to roughly 16,700. The smartphone comes in only one RAM and storage combination, and it's currently limited to China. There's no word on when the Vivo Y30G will launch in other markets.
