Top 5 most downloaded apps on Google Play Store, Apple App Store

SensorTower has shared a list of the most downloaded apps on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store in the first half of 2021. The company said that Apple’s App Store saw a year-on-year decline in the first half of 2021, dropping to 16.3 billion compared to 18.3 billion in H1 2020. On the other hand, Google Play Store witnessed a growth of 6% year-on-year to 56.2 billion in the first half of 2021.

TikTok was the top downloaded app in the first half of 2021. While on Apple’s App Store it was the most downloaded app, on the Play Store it was the second most downloaded app. The app saw the most downloads worldwide across both app stores, reaching about 384.6 million. (Pixabay)
