Apple's Annual Developer Conference (WWDC) 2022 is all set to take place today on June 6 in California. It has been scheduled to begin at 10am in California, 1pm in New York and 6pm in London on June 6. Apple WWDC 2022 India time is 10:30 PM. You can watch the event via Apple's website. Yes, many new Apple features are incoming for everyone. The annual developer conference seems like a feast for Apple fans as the Cupertino based tech giant is expected to make major announcements and free upgrades to iOS 16, macOS 13 to iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, and realityOS.

Apple WWDC 2022: What to expect

Though Apple hasn't confirmed exactly what we'll get to see at WWDC 2022, rumours and speculations have already been taking over the internet for a few days now. One of the most talked about upgrades that the tech giant is likely to announce is iOS 16. For iPhones the event will likely introduce a host of new features, improved notification system, dark mode/night mode shift, more theme and widget options, improved health app and much more- all for free.

The public beta test of iOS 16 will be rolled out in the weeks following Apple WWDC 2022 and the final release is likely to be made by September alongside the new iPhone 14 launch.

The tech giant will also introduce new software updates for other key Apple product lines including iPadOS 16 for iPad, macOS 13 for Mac, watchOS 9 for Apple Watch and tvOS 16 for Apple TV.

We might also get to see a new operating system called homeOS for Apple's HomePod and HomePod mini smart speakers.

Apart from software upgrades, we can also expect some new products to launch at WWDC 2022, keeping its past trends in view. In 2020, Apple had announced its switch from Intel chips to its own custom processors for Mac products.
