If you have been planning to buy a new smartphone, you might want to hold on for another week. From the new iPhones to Xiaomi's second generation Mi MIX smartphone, the coming week will be buzzing with a spate of new devices.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2
Launch date: September 11
All that noise you hear about the bezel-less phones, well, it all started from the Xiaomi Mi MIX. Launched in China last year, the Xiaomi Mi MIX features an impressive 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. Though the MI MIX never launched in India, the smartphone got a lot of attention from the international community. Soon, a plethora of smartphones with 'bezel-less' gimmick launched. Closest examples you can check out are Samsung's Galaxy S8 and LG's G6 flagship smartphones.
The MI MIX 2 is expected to be a lot superior to the predecessor. According to reports, the smartphone will feature 6.2-inch QHD display, 256GB storage and 4,000mAh battery. It is also expected to come with a 20-megapixel rear camera and Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Apple iPhone 8
Launch date: September 12
September belongs to Apple. The company will be showcasing its latest generation iPhones on September 12. According to reports, Apple has a special smartphone up its sleeves. Dubbed as the iPhone 8 aka iPhone X aka iPhone Edition, the smartphone is expected to redefine the mobile experience in various ways. Expected key features include bezel-less screen, in-screen fingerprint scanner, 3D facial recognition and lots more.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Launch date: September 12
While Apple will be just announcing the new iPhones, Samsung is looking to hog the limelight on September 12 by launching its latest flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note 8, in India. Now, that's a smart marketing strategy, or not? We will find out soon.
Samsung also claims that it has bagged more than 2.5 lakhs pre-registrations for the smartphone in India. The initial reviews of the Galaxy Note 8 have shown the smartphone in positive light. And the best thing is this phone does not explode like the previous one, wink wink.
Asus ZenFone 4
Launch date: September 14
Last month, Asus unleashed its latest flagship series ZenFone 4 with as many as six new smartphones. The company is now gearing up for its September 14 launch in Delhi where it will unveil the new flagship series for the Indian market. Asus is likely to introduce ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, ZenFone 4 Max, and ZenFone 4 Max Pro. While the Asus Zenfone 3 was a major upgrade over the predecessor series, the ZenFone 4 series brings a lot more improvements, especially in the camera department.
