To mark the 46th anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series, Google has created an interactive Star Trek themed Doodle.
If you're a fan of the original Star Trek series, you can experience the thrill of the science fantasy series on Google's homepage. The characters of the crew of the Starship Enterprise: Spock, Uhura, Captain Kirk, Dr. McCoy, and 'red-shirt' are represented by letters in the Google logo.
The interactive doodle plays sound effects if you click on the doodle. It also shows cuts of different episodes from the series starting from the ship's bridge and eventually to the planet where the battle happens.
The first episode of Star Trek, called The Man Trap, aired on September 8, 1966.
