Google rolls out Android 11 Beta 1.5 with minor fixes
Just a week after rolling out the first beta version, Google is back with a new build that fixes some bugs in the Android 11 Beta.
Google has rolled out the Android 11 Beta 1.5 just a week after rolling out the initial beta for supported Pixels. This new build is coming to those Pixel phones that are enrolled into the Android Beta program.
The new build number is RPB1.200504.020 and if you want to try it out right now, you can check all the details here about how to manually install it.
The Android 11 Beta 1.5 fixes the bugs that were there in the Android 11 Beta. So Google Play is functional again and also the reboot crash while using gesture navigation to switch between apps in different orientations has also been fixed.
Other fixes include bugs related to the eSIM on the Pixel 3a and some improvements for Bluetooth. The issues people faced in Android Auto are still around, so if it is not working for you even with the new build, Google is going to roll out a fix for this soon.
Google naming this new build Android 11 Beta 1.5 is quite a departure from its earlier naming practices. The company’s earlier Android versions were named Developer Preview x and Developer Preview x+1 which was also known as Beta 1.
