Honor 9A, 9S and MagicBook 15 launched in India: Prices, specs and features

While the Honor 9S costs Rs 6,499, Honor 9A is priced at ₹9,999. The Honor MagicBook 15 comes with a price tag of ₹42,990.

Honor today launched three new products in India that included two smartphones and a laptop. While the Honor 9S costs Rs 6,499, Honor 9A is priced at ₹9,999. The Honor MagicBook 15 comes with a price tag of ₹42,990.

Honor 9A 

Honor 9A will be available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colour variants and will go on sale via Amazon starting August 6 (11am IST). Customers can avail a discount of  ₹1,000 during the first sale and get the smartphone at ₹8,999. There is an additional 10% discount for HDFC credit cards and debit card users and no cost EMI up to 6 months.

It sports a 6.3-inch dewdrop Full view Display with TUV Rheinland and is powered by MediaTek MT6762R processor. Also included are 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 512GB. It runs Android 10 based Magic UI 3.1 and has triple rear cameras. The setup includes a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth assistant. There's an 8-megapixel front camera as well. Backing the device is a 5000mAh battery with reverse charging feature.

Honor 9S will be available in Blue and Black colour variants and will go on sale starting August 6 (12pm IST) via Flipkart. Along with no cost EMI up to 6 months, customers can also avail a discount of ₹500 as the first sale offer and get the handset at ₹5,999.

The smartphone runs the same Android 10 based Magic UI 3.1 and features a 5.45-inch FHD+ screen. It is powered by Mediatek MT6762R processor and is backed by a 3020mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 17 hours of video playback. As for the cameras, the smartphone has 8-megapixel primary sensor with f/2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There's 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to ₹512GB.

Honor MagicBook 15 will be available in Mystic Silver colour variant and will go on sale on the same day as the two smartphones via Flipkart. However, for Flipkart early access members, the sale will start from August 5. You can get the laptop at  ₹39,990 after INR 3000 discount for the first sale. Customers will also get a no cost EMI up to 12 months and a product exchange offer of up to ₹13,000. The laptop comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 10 Home and all the users will get a 1-month trial of the Microsoft 365 personal subscription.

Honor MagicBook 15 has a 15.6 inches FHD IPS screen with 87% screen-to-body ratio, 5.3 mm top and side bezels and anti-glare coating. It is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Mobile Processor with Radeon Vega 8 graphics, 8GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM, 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage drive and S-shaped fan design with 49% more number of fan blades. 

The laptop has a password-free login as well and comes with a two-in-one fingerprint power button. What's interesting is that there's a pop-up webcam that is discreetly hidden underneath the camera button on the keyboard. Backing up the device is a 65W fast charger and a multi-device Type-C USB connector.
