Gaming giant Ubitus and telecom service provider announced on Monday the official launch of a cloud gaming service on a line of set-top-boxes by KT called IPTVs that are wired to play blockbuster AAA game titles and include the latest upgrades.

The news comes not long after KT released gaming service 'Wizgame' on IPTVs, a move which they say enhanced its cloud platform and helped them to work with Ubitus.

From May 21 onward, KT is upgrading its set-top-boxes for the cloud gaming service and it's possible they will expand to Smart Web Set-top-boxes and UHD Set-top-boxes this year.

The company claims its next-generation cloud gaming technology provides the experience of console play in a set-top-box.
