Metal-clad OnePlus 3 expected at ₹25,000 without invites
The launch is scheduled for June 14 and you’ll need the Loop VR headset to watch it. Also, this time the company is launching the phone without the invite system making it easier for you to get your hands on the device on the day of the launch.
Spoiling one of the most of the anticipated announcements of the year, OppoMart briefly listed all of OnePlus 3's six variants on their e-commerce site.
The variants listed had a 4 GB RAM options while internal storage available were 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. However, the surprise was the 6 GB RAM with the same internal storage options.
The price listed for the base model -- 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage -- was roughly ₹25,000. The same price as that of the OnePlus 2 on its launch.
The phone will accommodate the standard 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor, 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation (for less blurry pictures) and a 8 MP one on teh front. The battery is expected to be slightly bigger at 3,650 mAh.
The software on the device will be the latest version of Oxygen OS based on Android Marshmallow. Also, abandoning the sandstone back, this smartphone will have a metal exterior much like HTC's One series and iPhones.
The launch is scheduled for June 14 and you'll need the Loop VR headset to watch it. Also, this time the company is launching the phone without the invite system making it easier for you to get your hands on the device on the day of the launch.
