By joining the Bing Rewards loyalty program, US web surfers will be able to earn credits when they search with Bing and then redeem them for 100GB of free OneDrive storage.

But beware, Microsoft will be keeping tabs on your search engine loyalty. Once a user has earned enough points for the free cloud space, it will only remain active and accessible if that user continues using Bing.

Still, cloud storage isn't the only offer Microsoft is using to entice consumers away from Google.

There are also 'amazing giveaways' -- i.e., the chance to win Microsoft products such as an Xbox or a Surface tablet -- and the ability to convert credits earned by using Bing into popular gift cards such as for Starbucks and Amazon.

There's even the option of forsaking the points altogether by donating them to a good cause instead.

The Bing Rewards program is available now in the US. Microsoft is yet to confirm if it will be rolling out the program in Europe.
