State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is facing stiff competition from private telecom operators including Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel both in terms of plans and in terms of service. This competition has forced BSNL to offer similar low-priced plans and services. Not just plans, BSNL has moved further and launched a new service in India that is aimed at helping its customers pay their telecom bills with ease.

TelecomTalk reports that the state-owned telecom provider has introduced an online payment option for its FTTH and landline customers. This facility will enable customers to pay their bills from the comfort of their homes. It also enables users to make payments in advance so that they can avoid paying the bill late. Additionally, BSNL subscribers can also pay more than the amount in their current bill that would enable them to cover future payments as well. Here's a step-by-step that will help you pay your bills online.
