OnePlus X now gets a permanent price cut in India
Starting now, OnePlus Onyx 4 Edition will be available on Amazon India starting ₹14,999.


After slashing the price of its OnePlus 2 flagship, the company has now announced that the OnePlus X Onyx will be available on Amazon ar ₹14,999. The smartphone
was originally launched in India in October last year for ₹16,999.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus X features a 5-inch full-HD Amoled display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor bundled with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage expandable upto 128GB via microSD slot.
The smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. The OnePlus X runs OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and packs a 2,525mAh battery.

The company is all set to launch its flagship smartphone for 2016 -- the OnePlus 3 in this quarter. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, in an interview said that the upcoming OnePlus 3 will be a siginificant overhaul in terms of design.
"It needs to feel good in the hand," he told HT in an interview.
