Oppo F9 Pro with 25-megapixel selfie camera launched in India: Price, specifications

Oppo on Tuesday launched a new smartphone, Oppo F9 Pro, in India. The new Oppo phone comes with the company's fast-charging technology VOOC that is said to charge your phone up to 75% of battery with thirty-minutes of charge. The smartphone is available in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple colour options.

Oppo F9 Pro is available in India for ₹23,900. The company has also launched Oppo F9 in India for ₹19,990. Both the phones will be available from August 31 while the pre-orders have begun from today. The new Oppo phones will be available from e-commerce platforms like Paytm Mall, Amazon and Flipkart. One can also purchase the two phones offline via Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales among others.

Oppo F9 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.8% of screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB.

In the camera department, Oppo F9 Pro has 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors on the back. For selfies, it has 25-megapixel camera. The front-camera comes with Artificial Intelligence-integration, HDR mode and portrait mode.

The 3,500mAh battery comes with VOOC fast charging technology. For connectivity, Oppo F9 Pro supports dual SIM, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB, 3.5mm headphone jack and 4G VoLTE.

On the software front, Oppo F9 Pro runs on ColorOS 5.2 with Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone also supports split screen functionality which lets you use two phones at the same time.It also comes with popular PUBG game.
