Planning to buy the iPhone 7 Jet Black? You might want to reconsider
Customers are already unable to buy the sold-out phones on site from Apple stores, but they are continuing to place orders for their desired models online, Apple said.
That shiny colour, the glare it produces. Yes! It is natural for you to fall in love with the new 'Jet Black' colour option that Apple is offering with its new iPhone 7 family.
But is it a good idea to pay extra for the Jet Black edition? It absolutely depends but we thought we will let you know the extra mile you will probably have to go through before you get your hands (make sure they are not greasy) on the 'dream device'.

Firstly, Initial quantities of the iPhone 7 Plus have sold out globally as Apple Inc prepares to roll out its new gadget in stores, the company said last week. This means that the same might just happen in India after the Tim Cook-led company launches the new phones on October 7. "The demand for the Jet Black edition of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is really high. While people are asking for only Jet Black option, Apple is only capable of sharing very few units," a source told HT under the terms of anonymity. He also said that the ratio of orders and units received is 100:1.

This clearly means that a waiting list will have to be maintained by retailers or they have to ask the customers to buy a different colour variant.
Secondly, the Jet Black has a smudge problem. You will end up cleaning the phone many times a day. To stop the smudge problem, you will have to cover up the phone but if you do so (without a transparent cover), there is no point in buying the Jet Black.
