Realme Pad X tablet could launch in India as a high performance Android tablet. Check out all the details.
Realme Pad X tablet could be launched in India soon. Launched in China a few days ago, the Realme Pad X is the more powerful version of the Realme Pad tablet that was launched last year. The tablet launched in China with approximate price of Rs. 15,000, which is still in the affordable range. Realme India VP Madhav Sheth has now hinted at bringing this tablet to India, although he ashen't provided any concrete date for this, and neither the expected price.
The Realme Pad X could be another addition to the expanding tablet market in India, especially after most smartphone manufactures are coming up with affordable tablets for less than Rs. 25,000. The most recent one was the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet that is so far the most powerful tablet we have seen in this category. Motorola had also jumped into the scene with the Motorola Tab G70 LTE a few months ago.

Realme Pad X launching in India soon
The Realme Pad X, unlike the Xiaomi Pad 5, is using a much newer yet less powerful chipset. Realme is using the 5G capable Snapdragon 695 chip that we have seen on a couple of affordable entry-level smartphone lately. This is accompanied by a 11-inch 2K IPS LCD display with a rated peak brightness of 450 nits. The tablet also comes with the Realme UI 3.0 for Pad, although it is not specified whether this I based on Android 11 or Android 12.
The Pad X also gets 6GB RAM, which can be expanded by 5GB extra. Users also get 128GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via the microSD card. For connectivity, you get support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port for wired connections. The tablet also comes with support for Realme Magnetic Stylus and Smart Keyboard, both of which have to purchased separately. On the audio part, there are quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
The tablet also has a 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. The whole thing is backed by a 8340mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging.
What remains to be seen is what kind of price does this tablet have in India. Given the Realme Pad already sells at around the Rs. 20,000 mark, Realme could launch the Pad X to undercut the Xiaomi Pad 5.
