JioGigaFiber
As the name suggests, JioGigaFiber is the company's fiber-based broadband service which is promised to deliver speeds up to 1Gbps. It is said to be the "largest greenfield fixed-line broadband" and will be available in over 1,000 cities.
Currently, Jio is running a JioGigaFiber preview scheme under which customers can get high-speed internet up to 100Mbps for 90 days along with a monthly data of 100GB. The preview comes bundled with a range of Jio's apps. Jio users can also top-up data up to 40GB via MyJio and Jio.com in case the monthly quota has been exhausted.
Reliance Jio says it is not charging any installation charge for the new broadband service but is taking a refundable security deposit of ₹4,500. Customers can pay for the deposit through Debit card, Credit Card, Jio Money or Paytm.
Currently, JioGigaFiber services are available as prepaid. The company plans to launch the post-paid services for the same in "due course of time." ALSO READ: JioGigaFiber: Reliance Jio looks to disrupt India's telecom landscape, again
