Highlights: Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Home unveiled

Samsung on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note 9.Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts at $999 (68,800 approximately) for the base model, and $1,249 (86,000 approximately) for the top model.Samsung also announced the new S Pen which comes with a finer tip and higher pressure sensitivity. Samsung S Pen comes with support for Bluetooth Low Energy which allows users to access key smartphone features like taking a selfie.Fortnite on Galaxy Note 9Epic Games announced the launch of Fortnite on Android with exclusivity to Galaxy Note 9. Fortnite beta will launch for Galaxy Note 9 this week. Galaxy Home smart speaker is powered the company’s AI-based assistant, Bixby.Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specificationsSamsung Galaxy Note 9 features a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor for the US model, and in-house Exynos 9810 SoC for other markets. In terms of storage, Galaxy Note 9 comes in two variants - 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage, 8GB RAM plus 512GB storage. For photography, Galaxy Note 9 sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel sensors with dual optical image stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.On the software front, Galaxy Note 9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Like the Galaxy Note 8, its successor also comes with support for wireless charging.
