Samsung's January 6 First Look 2021 invite is about CES announcements, not the Galaxy S21 series
Samsung’s homepage has an invite for a January 6 event and many are speculating that it could be about the Galaxy S21 series.
We know that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is coming in January, but it looks like we finally have a date. According to a report in Telefoon NL, as spotted by GSMArena, Samsung's Netherland's home page has an invitation for an event that's called “The First Look 2021”. The time scheduled is 4PM local time which is 11AM EST (9:30PM IST) and that's literally all the information we have about this event for now.
The same invite can also be seen on the US home page as well, but with a little more information.

The January 6 “First Look” event looks like it has to do with Samsung's CES announcements and is not really connected to smartphones. It is being anticipated that the January 6 event will be a teaser of what Samsung is planning to unveil at CES. Usually, Samsung unveils home and entertainment products at CES.
Earlier reports had it that Samsung's Unpacked event is going to take place in January and Samsung has a time slot reserved for a CES keynote this year as well. However, Samsung has not announced any flagship smartphones at the CES keynote in years.

What possibly could be the case is, the January 6 event might be a teaser into the future of Samsung's conventional high-end consumer products like TVs and refrigerators etc and not quite the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. But might get a glimpse of it too, here's hoping!
