Brownlee shared a picture of what is reportedly the new handset on Twitter. The back of the device has Google's familiar Nexus branding. There's also a 'not for sale' warning, which lends some authenticity to the image.

One of the notable things in the picture seems to be a metallic ring right below the camera, which is rumoured to be an iPhone-like fingerprint sensor on the back of the Nexus.
The prototype in the image also seems close enough to some recent renders of the phone that were making the rounds of the internet a few weeks ago.
