Xiaomi launches Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro, Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) in India

While the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro costs ₹1,799, the Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) is priced at ₹2,499.

As rumoured before, Xiaomi today unveiled two new audio products in India - Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro and Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W). While the neckband is new, the portable speaker has been launched in other countries before. You can get the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro at ₹1,799 in both Black and Blue colours from 1PM today via the company's Mi Store website. The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) goes on sale at the same time, priced at ₹2,499. It comes in the same Black and Blue colour models.

The Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro is IPX5 splash resistant and weighs 36 grams. It has a micro-USB charging port and is claimed to charge from zero to full in approximately 1.5 hours. It supports Bluetooth v5.0 and has a wireless range of 10 meters (without obstacles). As for the battery, there is a 150mAh battery capacity that can deliver around 20 hours of music playback. Compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices, the neckband has buttons for volume control and power. You can press and hold the volume up or down button to navigate to the next or previous track. It is also possible to answer calls using the power button.

Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphone Pro supports Google Assistant and Siri and is said to have low-latency audio streaming. Sporting an ‘anti-cerumen & anti-blockage speaker net design', the new neckband has a 10mm bass driver along with dual noise cancellation including ANC and ENC.

The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) supports Bluetooth v5.0 and is IPX7 water resistant. You get 2x8W audio output and a frequency range of 80Hz to 20KHz. Powering it is a 2600mAh battery that is claimed to charge from zero to full in approximately 4 hours and deliver around 13 hours of playback time (at 50% volume). Weighing 790 grams, the speaker has a Type-C port for charging. It supports Android, iOS and Windows devices and has a TWS mode as well that connects two Mi Portable Bluetooth Speakers and lets them work as left and right channels. There is a dedicated button for it as well.

It has buttons to control the audio playback and can pause music automatically during an incoming call. You can choose to pick it up or reject it using the play/pause button. Besides supporting voice assistants, the portable Bluetooth speaker has Dual-EQ modes - Normal and Deep Bass.
