Chinese handset-maker Xiaomi is coming up with another entry into its Redmi Note 4 series and this time the variant is to be called 4X.

According to reports, Xiaomi took its official page on Chinese Twitter-like site Weibo to announce the launch of its upcoming Redmi Note 4X in China which is expected to be launched around February 14 -- Valentine's Day. Maybe this time the company might be banking on the love season for sales -- a good idea to gift your partner a smartphone maybe.

The teaser confirms that the phone will be called Redmi Note 4X but does not even offer a reference image of the device. Presumably, the 4X will come with some more bells and whistles under the hood and will be a tad more expensive than the Redmi Note 4.

As per earlier leaks, the Redmi Note 4X is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display, draw power from a 2GHz deca-core CPU, again presumably a MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, though other countries including in India may see launch of a Snapdragon 653 SoC variant as we have seen with the Redmi Nore 4.

Futher, the Redmi Note 4X is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, though 2GB and 3GB RAM variants will also be offered. Inbuilt storage variants include 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with microSD storage expansion (up to 32GB).

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is tipped to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device may sport a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 4,000mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
