Come to think of it, Zuckerberg looks a little like a lizard (no offence). The CEO and founder was asked if he was a lizard man while he was conducting his firtst Facebook Live.

"I'm going to have to go with no, I'm not a lizard," a grinning Zuckerberg, who has ditched his famous townhall meeting for this new format, said.

The CEO briefly touched upon many topics including online education, specific features for the disabled, Live Video upgrades, virtual reality, and the Orlando shooting that happened over the weekend.

At the start of the session he answered the most popular question which was on getting storage folders on Facebook which had garnered about 1,000 likes. He said that the company was working on it and said that there are numerous special interest groups on Facebook that users could join to learn and share things of the same interest with each other.

He then took up online education and said that he was interested in building tools to enable users to learn about things on his platform. He also reiterated his dedication to improve Facebook experience for the physically challenged via artificial intelligence (AI). AI will decode an image and read it out loud for the blind users and moreover, it looks to support video subtitles for users who are hearing impaired.

He also later spoke about the new updates that Live is going to get. Facebook seems to be working Facebook on features like chat back for a more immersive experience. This will enable talk back into the video, for a real time chat on Facebook. Virtual reality is another area where the company is focussing and Zuck said that VR in future could mean capturing thought. "There is some crazy brain research going on, where you can take an MRI of a person doing different activities, and then can predict what they are thinking. It's a technology that is still many years away," he said.

The founder also put to rest rumours of ever making Facebook a paid platform, and said that the main aim of the platform was to connect people.
