The latest series of LG OLED TV have been rolled out at the CES 2022. The LG OLED G2 and C2 series are a part of the company's 2022 line-up. The company has unveiled its largest and smallest OLED TV ever with some additional features like multi user profiles to the webOS software that runs on its TVs. The fifth generation of its A9 processor of LG newly launched TVs will include better 4K upscaling, improved tone mapping, and a greater sense of depth through foreground object enhancement.

Both the LG G2 and LG C2 OLED TVs are equipped with the “Evo” panel introduced last year on the G1 in 2021. Know the features, specifications and all we know about LG G2 and C2 OLED TV series so far. 

LG G2 OLED TV series: Features, specifications and availability 

The high-end G2 OLED series of LG offers the slimmest TVs with a design intended to be mounted flush to the wall. It features a 97-inch model, the company's largest OLED panel so far followed by 55-, 65-, 77-, and 83-inch versions.

The TV comes with a full HDMI 2.1 capabilities with the whole 48Gbps pipeline. It also features 120Hz 4K gaming, variable refresh rate, auto low latency mode, and much more. Additionally the LG G2 OLED TV will have a game dashboard with more information at the top layer so that gamers don’t need extra clicks and can adjust key settings without jumping into the full game optimizer menu. The TV will have a new fifth preset for sports games and a dark room gaming mode in picture settings. LG is yet to announce pricing or availability for its new TVs, however, we can expect it soon. 

LG C2 OLED TV series: Features, specifications and availability 

The LG 42-inch C2 OLED TV series is introduced as the smallest OLED TV of the company ever. The TV gets almost all of the premium features found in larger models of the set, including HDMI 2.1 ports, 120 Hz refresh rate and LG's latest Alpha 9 Gen 5 Processor 4K. It will come with an improved Game Optimizer menu with a Dark Room Mode to help with eye health during long hours of gaming in lowlight conditions. The TV will also feature a sports gaming preset with the FPS, RPG and other Game Optimizer presets. The company continues to support Nvidia GSync, the Nvidia GeForce Now beta, AMD FreeSync and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR.)

With OLED in the focus of LG's announcement, the company has also unveiled its QNED line of LED TVs, a new Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor, and webOS 22 smart TV platform.
