JBL Tune225 TWS earbuds launched at ₹10,499: Here are the features
In the past few weeks we have seen several brands launching their earbuds including Xiaomi, Vivo, OnePlus, Huawei and Sony. Now, JBL too has joined the party with its Tune225 TWS earbuds. It is priced at ₹10,499 and falls in the same bracket as the recently launched Huawei Freebuds 3i and Sony WF-XB700. You can get the Tune225 TWS in Black, Blue, Grey and White starting today.
These have 12mm dynamic driver and frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz. In addition to 105dB SPL sensitivity, the earbuds also have 32ohm impedance. Some other specifications and features included are Bluetooth v5.0, 22mAh headset battery, 410mAh battery case and 57 grams weight.
JBL claims its Tune255 to runs for up to 5 hours on a single charge along with additional 25 hours from the charging case. It can also charge from 0% to full in under 2 hours. In addition, 15 minutes of charging is said to deliver up to 1 hour of music playback. There's a type-C port to charge the case.
The Tune255 has a stem with microphones so one can attend calls and give voice commands to virtual assistant. It has one button each that can be used to control music playback, access Siri, Google Assistant or Bixby, take incoming calls – all by using different button tap combinations. Also, you won't need a dedicated app to get started as it simply shows up in your Bluetooth search list from where you can connect it.
In addition, there's a charging LED indicator on the case and as well as on each earbud. These also indicate if the earbuds are connected to the source device or not.
