Specs to features, check out the OnePlus Buds Pro
OnePlus Buds Pro will cater to the needs of the current work and lifestyle requirements of customers.
Bluetooth headphones are now part and parcel of the smartphone-toting world. They provide convenience and utility in the same package and get rid of the clumsy wires without affecting the quality of sound. They also have an added benefit - boost users' 'cool' quotient.
There are literally, hundreds of earbud brands in the market, from Apple, Samsung to Nothing, that are highlighting the benefits they provide from quality to being affordable. In this respect, OnePlus has rolled out its latest product, the OnePlus Buds Pro, an advanced version of its previous model, which claims to offer both these benefits in one package. OnePlus Buds Pro price has been pegged at ₹9,990.
OnePlus Buds Pro features a high-end design and brings hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) technologies with three modes to meet users' needs in different conditions. Users can create their own listening experience by picking either the Extreme or Faint Mode. The Buds Pro provide a noise cancellation level of up to 40dB in Extreme mode that makes possible an immersive listening experience. On the other hand, in a different situation that involves friends and family, users can opt for the Faint mode that allows the enjoyment of music during the conversation with a noise cancellation of 25dB.
For the discerning user, the Buds Pro has another option - Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC). It comes in two modes and users can experience the Bud Pro's Smart Mode that automatically responds to the environment. It will adjust itself to compensate for ambient sounds and all that users have to to do is pinch and hold to turn on the ANC and thereby, activate the immersive experience.
While all of that was tech at play on the sidelines of the user conversation, as far as the most important factor, the audio quality is concerned, then the Buds Pro will cater to the needs of the current work and lifestyle requirements of customers.
For instance, with most people, due to the pandemic, telephonic conversations with friends and family have increased manifold. To that have been added the never-ending work calls due to the work-from-home system that most companies have adopted. To make communication crystal clear, the Buds have a wind noise-reducing mechanical design and an advanced noise reduction algorithm that recognises and filters unwanted noise on the basis of the conditions the user is in. So, while walking on a subway or sitting in a crowded train, users don't need to look for a silent corner to pick up calls, as the 3-mic setup does that.
Entertainment is another area where demand for products has risen. The Buds have a feature called OnePlus Audio ID that customises each piece of music based on a user's sensitivity to different sounds.
The Buds promise a battery life of up to 38 hours with ANC off and 28 hours with it on. Charging-wise, the gadget supports Warp Charge and Qi-certified wireless charging. In fact, 10 minutes of USB-C charging provides 10 hours of playtime.
Also, for those who have OnePlus devices with OxygenOS 11 and up, there's ultra-low latency, which is as low as 94ms with the Pro Gaming mode on.
Last, but not the least, OnePlus also brings the Zen Mode to its Buds - at one time this mode was available for OnePlus smartphone users only. It is located in the settings or HeyMelody app for non-OnePlus users, and offers a list of white noises to reduce stress and provide a sense of calm during activities like yoga and meditation.
