4. About Battlegrounds Mobile India vs PUBG Mobile India

Reports in the past have suggested that the Battlegrounds Mobile India game will not be drastically different from the fan-favourite PUBG Mobile India. For instance, the game will have PUBG Mobile’s Erangel map, which will be called Erangel in Battlegrounds Mobile India.

It was reported earlier that the game will have green blood instead of PUBG Mobile’s red blood. Now, the players who have got early access to the Battlegrounds Mobile India game have confirmed that blood is indeed, green in the game. Additionally, the game lets you save data from previous the save. It also has bold warnings about safe gaming.

5. Battlegrounds Mobile India ban likely?

While PUBG Mobile India fans are delighted as their favourite game is coming back, albeit, in a slightly different form, politicians are calling for a ban to be imposed on the game. In the recent past, politicians such as Suresh Nakhua and Ashok Nete have called for banning the game citing concerns over data security and privacy.

Now, the question is -- can the game be banned in India? Responding to an RTI filed by tweep Dr Gaurav Tyagi, the IT Ministry has said that the game can’t be banned until it has been launched completely. Once it has been launched, it could face a ban under section 69A of the IT Act, 2000, BGR reports.

6. What is Krafton saying?

Responding to this mounting tension, Krafton, which owns Battlegrounds Mobile India game, has said that privacy and data security is its top priority.
