Until now, gamers who own an iPhone were out of luck and would probably need to play on a friend’s device if they missed PUBG Mobile, which was banned last year on security grounds. The replacement game, Battlegrounds Mobile India, now has over 40 million downloads on the Play Store and is only available in India. Krafton confirms Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version coming soon

Over the weekend, Krafton took to Instagram to tease the launch of the popular Battlegrounds Mobile India game for iOS devices. The post is an image of a metallic question mark – the dot in the question mark is replaced by a metallic apple icon. Notably, the logo used by developer Krafton does not show the “bite” taken out of the logo (presumably for legal purposes) and it also has a small stalk apart from the traditional leaf at the top of the fruit icon.

New leak reveals possible Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS launch date

According to a report by InsideSport, the release date for Battlegrounds Mobile India for iPhone could be as early as August 20. The report cites sources inside Krafton that have revealed that the developer is set to host the Streamer battle on that day after the Battlegrounds Mobile India title is officially launched on iOS. The battle could be supported only on iOS, according to the report. However, users should keep an eye on the BGMI official social media pages to keep track of official announcements related to the game launch.
