Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 2 is coming later this month. Ahead of the official rollout, Call of Duty Mobile has begun hinting at what to expect from the next season. The latest teaser hints at a new weapon in the new season.
The new weapon is a sniper. It is said to be the SP-R208 Marksman Rifle, a popular weapon from Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
It is the second weapon that has been confirmed by Call of Duty Mobile for Season 2. Last month, Call of Duty Mobile had said the AS Val from Modern Warfare would join the game with the next update.
Season 2 is rumoured to go official on March 11. As of now, Call of Duty Mobile is running the Season 1 New Order. The upcoming season will bring a wide range of new content. Apart from the new weapons, CoD players can also expect new maps. One of the long-awaited maps is Shoothouse, a small-sized map for multi-player mode. The other three maps coming to Call of Duty Mobile are Shipment, Oasis, and Satellite.
According to reports, Call of Duty Mobile will also restore the original Nuketown map. Last season, Call of Duty Mobile had swapped the map with a winter-themed Nuketown Russia. First seen in Black Ops 4, Nuketown Russia offered the gameplay in Russia’s snowy Chernobyl. The original map is likely to help with better visibility and familiar terrain. Though, Nuketown Russia had not changed much from the original version.
As of now, there is no word on the upgraded to the Ranked Season. The game is currently hosting Ranked Season 8 that rolled out with Season 13, also the last season of 2020.
