After their first teaser released in November last year, PUBG Mobile India has made two big announcements since. Parent company Kafton Inc appointed Aneesh Aravind as the new country manager for India.

Aravind comes with over 15 years of experience in the gaming industry and has worked with Zynga and Tencent in the past. Going by reports, Krafton Inc has gotten more people on board since Aravind’s appointment, however, the four others recruited are a part of Tencent.

The new members in the team are Akash Jumde (Visual Content Designer), Piyush Agarwal (Finance Manager), Arpita Priyadarshini (Senior Community Manager) and Karan Pathak (Senior Esports Manager). All the newly recruited people for Krafton’s team were previously a part of Tencent, who has the publishing rights for PUBGM’s Global version, according to reports.

Now, the PUBG Mobile India game cannot launch in India unless and until MeitY gives it a go ahead and it doesn’t look like the company is any closer to achieving that yet. For now, PUBG Mobile fans will have to make do with a new trailer.
