Apex Legends Mobile is giving out Mirage for Free; Don’t miss, check how to claim the legend

Apex Legends Mobile has become one of the fastest growing mobile games- it has become the most downloaded game on Apple's App Store in 60 countries. The battle royale themed hero shooter game has come to the mobile gaming domain after spending two years as a console and PC exclusive. And now, to celebrate its entry to Android and iOS, the developers Respawn Entertainment are giving out a legend, Mirage, for absolutely free. And this legend can be a game changer if used strategically. So, if you have not already claimed him, check out how to get him easily.

At the moment, Apex Legends Mobile has a total of ten legends including Bloodhound, Lifeline, Bangalore, Caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Mirage, Octane, Pathfinder, Wraith and a Mobile exclusive legend Fade. As the game is a hero shooter, every legend comes with its own passive, tactical and ultimate abilities that they can use while playing a match to their own advantage. Every ability except the passive ability comes with a cooldown time. The legends are divided into four classes – Offensive, defensive, support and recon – and their abilities are based on the class they fall into.

Apex Legends Mobile gives Mirage for free

Mirage is an offensive legend in the game. Like the name suggests, his abilities lie in distracting and confusing the enemy. His passive ability ‘Now You See Me’ cloaks Mirage while reviving a teammate or using a Respawn Beacon. This is handy as opponents will not be able to see you while you’re stuck. His tactical ability is called ‘Psyche Out’ and it deploys a controllable holographic decoy of himself. Finally, Mirage’s ultimate ability ‘Life of the Party’ deploys a team of decoys around him that can mirror the real Mirage's movements and actions.

Normally, in Apex Legends Mobile, you would need to reach level 24 to unlock Mirage. But for a limited time, the developers are giving him for free the moment you complete the rookie tutorial after opening the game. However, you need to claim him before you get to use him.
