Yes, you can change it according to your preference and there is no need at all to accept a dull one either. Google Chrome has made it easy to add spark in it. Google allows you to change your homepage option as well as the option to add your most preferred websites or your favourites. There is a slight difference between the homepage and start-up page. When you first open your Google Chrome, the page which comes first is the start-up page whereas when you click on the home button at the top-right corner, it leads you to the homepage.

You may even have some software that you never wanted to display over your screen when you open your homepage or startup page or maybe an update changed it in a way that you don't like. To end all these issues, here we list a step-by-step guide for you to change the Google Chrome homepage and customise it according to your likes.

How to Change Google Chrome Homepage

Step 1: Open Google Chrome and then at the top-right corner of the browser window, click the three-dot icon.

Step 2: Following that click on Settings and then Appearances.

Step 3: Enable 'Show Home Button'. You can skip it if the toggle bar is already green.

Step 4: Here, now you can change the default new tab option and add a website of your own choice which will be open in the homepage option. For example, you can set www.google.com as your home button tab.
