If Gmail is there to help you communicate with your personal and professional circles, it has also become a monster problem as it is being used by unscrupulous people as a medium to pass promotional materials to your inbox- Spam. These days, marketing agencies are widely using Gmail to promote their products and services. This abundance of Spam means you have a Gmail storage full problem on your hands. And what is more, it keeps coming back. Not just that, these emails piling up in your Gmail inbox can make you miss reading important email and in worse case scenario, delete important ones by mistake. Thankfully, Gmail offers an option to block these promotional emails and to get rid of the Gmail storage full problem. You can delete these promotional emails to save your storage memory in simple steps.
Apart from blocking the sender, you can also get rid of the existing promotional emails.
First, log in with your Gmail account on a desktop or laptop.
Then, in the search bar, simply type “unsubscribe” and hit enter. What will this do? It will simply show you a list of all emails that carry an Unsubscribe button.
Tick the box above to select all emails with this Unsubscribe tag.
Now, all you need to do is just tap on the delete button and all these promotional emails will be deleted. In case you want to keep some of these emails that you find useful, you can deselect those specific emails before hitting the delete button. However, you will need to deselect manually, one by one.
