How to create Twitter Moments

Moments is one of Twitter’s oldest features having launched in India back in 2017. It lets users create curated stories powered by tweets. Twitter Moments can be created by anyone on the platform.

Twitter Moments can be viewed from its iOS and Android apps, and from Twitter.com. But creating Moments is possible only through Twitter.com. To get started, you’ll need to have a Twitter account and a collection of tweets on what you want the Moment to be about. Then follow these steps to create Twitter Moments.

Tap on the Moments tab and select ‘Create New Moment’.

Give a title and description to your Moment.

Add tweets by selecting either your liked tweets or your past tweets.

You can then reorder your tweets by selecting the arrows to move them up or down.

Select a cover photo for your Twitter Moment and crop it for web and mobile view.

Twitter automatically credits the source of the cover photo below the image.

Once you’re done just hit the publish button to make your Moment live.

You can also save the Moment as a draft and edit it later.

Twitter also offers customisation options such as colour themes, sensitive labels, locations and private URLs. There’s also an option to share Twitter Moments privately. If you do this, only people who have the link to it can view it. Twitter also has its Moments India account where it shares the top trends of the platform.
