How to enable dark mode in Google Docs, Sheets on Android, iOS

Dark Mode has been one of the most important and defining features of iOS 13 and Android 10. Apps have been actively adding support for dark mode feature within their apps ever since Apple and Google rolled out the feature on their mobile OSes last year. However, there are some apps that still don’t feature support for dark more. Simply, said, like a lot of other apps, some apps won’t go dark even if you have enabled dark mode on your smartphone.

Google Docs and Sheets are some of the apps that just won’t budge. But there is an easy way using which Android and iOS users can enable dark mode in these apps.

Here’s how you can enable dark mode on iOS:

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Go to accessibility.

Step 3: Now, go to Display and Text Size.

Step 4: Toggle Smart Invert button.

Step 4: Open the desired app, you should see it in dark colours.

Here’s how you can enable dark mode on Android:

Step 1: Open the app that you want to turn dark.

Step 2: Tap on the hamburger icon.

Step 3: Go to Settings and tap on the Theme option.

Step 4: Select Dark and you’re good to go!
