Giving a New Year gift to the farmers of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday released the 10th installment of financial benefit under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme via video conferencing. With this an amount of more than Rs. 20,000 crore will be transferred to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families. During the programme, the Prime Minister also released equity grant of more than Rs. 14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers. Now that it has been announced, PM Kisan 10th installment status today is available for all beneficiaries.

It can be noted that under the PM-KISAN scheme, a financial benefit of Rs. 6000 per year is provided to the eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal 4-monthly installments of Rs. 2000 each. The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The PM Kisan installment scheme provides income support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs.

Farmers who were eagerly waiting for the amount under the scheme to get credited into their account can check if they have received the amount or not online by visiting PM Kisan official website or by downloading the PM Kisan Application on their smartphone.

As per the information provided by ANI, in the current financial year 2021-22, an amount of more than ₹65,800 crore has been transferred to the beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi PM Kisan Yojana.

How to check PM Kisan 10th installment status via official website

Step 1: Go to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.
