Among many of these, Google Meet also allows you to change your name to make you easily recognizable among the participants on a video call. How to change your name on Google Meet on the browser
To change your name on Google Meet, you need to open your Gmail account on any of the web browsers that you use.
If you aren’t signed in, then sign in with your Google account.
After signing in to your account, you need to go to the Personal Info option from the vertical menu on the left side of the page.
This will open a new page where you will see an option for Name. There will be a right facing arrow, click on that.
Now, you can enter your first and last name in the space provided according to yourself.
Ensure to tap on the Save option once it is done to keep the changes.
How to change your Google Meet name on an iPhone
You will need to open your Gmail app on your iPhone. Tap on the Menu option on the top left of the screen and then scroll down to find Settings option.
Now, click on the Manage your Google account option. Here, you will find the Personal Info button.
Click on the arrow which is right facing, the Name section.
Similar to the Browser settings, it will ask you to put your new name in the given space.
