Realme is reportedly working on a new version of its Realme GT handset. Called Realme GT Neo Flash Edition, the new phone will come with a faster charging capacity of 65W. The Flash Edition will be the third handset in the new lineup that consists of Realme GT and Realme GT Neo.

There is no word on other possible upgrades in the Flash Edition. The naming, however, indicates it could be just the GT Neo with faster charging support. It is worth noting that the GT Neo comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.

That said, Realme recently launched the GT Neo in China. The handset runs on MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It comes in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage capacities. As mentioned earlier, the handset packs a 4,500mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 11.

Realme GT Neo has a 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED full-HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 91.7% screen to body ratio. For photography, the handset has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor (f/1.8), 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.3, 119-degree FoV) and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 16-megapixel front camera in a punch-hole cutout with an f/2.5 aperture.

Realme GT Neo comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support. The phone is available in Final Fantasy, Geek Silver, and Hacker Black colours. According to reports, Realme GT Neo will release in India soon.

Separately, Realme is also planning to launch a Realme X7 Max. The phone was supposed to launch in India this month but has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to reports, Realme X7 Max will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood and a 120Hz Super AMOLED display. Rumours suggest the phone will be rebranded version of the GT Neo.
