Apple iPhone 12 Pro: Expected specs, price, features and more

Apple is hosting a special event on October 13 wherein it is expected to launch its next-generation iPhone 12 series smartphones. The iPhone 12 series, as reports have suggested so far, will comprise of four iPhone 12 models, which includes the budget iPhone 12 Mini, the iPhone 12, and the premium-budget iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All the four iPhone models are tipped to get an OLED display. The four iPhone models are also tipped to get 5G connectivity along with a multi-camera setup.

As far as the iPhone 12 Pro is concerned, it is tipped to get a 6.1-inch display with an OLED display. While the resolution of the phone’s display is not known yet, reports have hinted towards Apple’s Pro version iPhone iPhones to get a 120Hz display. This means that the iPhone 12 Pro will come with a faster 120Hz display. As far as the overall design is concerned the iPhone 12 Pro is likely to come with a design that is similar to the iPhone 11 Pro, which means you can expect to see a display notch, which will house the phone’s front camera and additional FaceID sensors.

The iPhone 12 Pro will be powered by Apple’s latest A14 chipset. It is expected to be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB memory variants. The top variant of the iPhone 12 series, that is, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will also come with a 120Hz display.

Coming to the camera, the iPhone 12 Pro is tipped to come with a triple rear camera setup with an LED flash that is likely to be housed inside a square-shaped camera setup like the iPhone 11 series. Additionally, the iPhone 11 Pro is tipped to come with LiDAR sensors. This sensor will offer enhanced capabilities such as enhanced night mode, advanced noise reduction and zoom among other capabilities.

As far as the price is concerned, reports suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro is likely to come at a starting price of $999. It is expected to be available in yellow, green, white, black, and gold colour variants. Apple is likely to ship the iPhone 12 Pro without the earpods.
