Apple iPhone 13 launch date tipped. It’s just around the corner!

Apple is tipped to be prepping to launch the iPhone 13 series as soon as next month. Apart from last year’s delayed launch, the company has always launched an iPhone in the month of September. Hence, it is expected to launch the iPhone 13 in the month of September as well. Now, the exact launch date of the iPhone 13 series has been tipped online.

According to a screenshot from an e-commerce app shared by tipster, Panda is bald (translated) on Weibo, the iPhone 13 series will be unveiled on September 17. It also reveals that Apple is likely to launch four models in its next-gen iPhone lineup, which includes the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The same screenshot also suggests that Apple could launch the AirPods 3 on September 30. Apart from this, no other information on the iPhone 13 series or AirPods was available.

The iPhone 13 Pro models could have a 1TB storage variant. The iPhone 13 series is tipped to finally catch up with their Android counterparts and feature a 120Hz high refresh rate. There are some contradicting reports, however, which claim that the high refresh rate could be limited to the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple is tipped to be using LTPO displays on its upcoming phones.

The iPhone 13 lineup could also feature a new design on the front. While the overall look and feel are rumoured to remain the same, we could see a smaller notch. That being said, there is no hope for the return of TouchID. Plus, the 2021 iPhones could sport a better camera system that will have support for video portrait mode to blur the background in videos.

Apple is said to be prepping to produce 130–150 million iPhone units in the second half of the year. The iPhone 13 lineup might come with a laser imaging, detection, and ranging (LiDAR) sensor as well. For reference, the LiDAR sensor is limited to the iPhone 12 Pro models as of now.
