iPhone 12 sells like hotcakes, free AirPods offer to start this week

The iPhone 12 series has sold like hotcakes during the latest sale period. In a media statement released by Flipkart, it is said that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini have sold combined total of 2 lakh units in the early few days. Both these models were the most popular models during the sale. Even though the sale still goes on, the prices are slowly increasing from the original discount prices.

The iPhone 12 is currently available at a price of ₹51,999 for the base 64GB variant whereas the iPhone 12 Mini is still going up for ₹40,999, also for the base 64GB variant. Amazon, meanwhile, has been putting up the iPhone 11 for sale at a price of ₹38,999 while the 2018 iPhone XR starts at a price of ₹32,999 for the base 64GB variant.

iPhone 12 free AirPods offer from this week

While Flipkart will continue to sell the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini at lower prices, Apple will start its own bundle offer on its online store. If you buy the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Mini from the Apple online store, you can get a free pair of AirPods. The offer starts from October 7 and will last until November 4 on all iPhone 12 models purchases.

However, you will have to pay the MRP for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini in this case. For your knowledge, the iPhone 12 Mini starts at ₹59,900 on Apple’s website while the iPhone 12 starts at ₹65,900. Apple is essentially giving an discount of ₹14,900 only of you bundle any of the AirPods variants with your purchase.

Hence, you can get the standard pair of AirPods with the case for no extra cost. The wireless charging case variant will make you pay ₹4,000 extra. If you want to get the AirPods Pro, you will get a discount of ₹14,900 but you need to pay the rest of the amount.

Do note that the iPhone 12 series does not ship with a charger in the box, hence first time buyers will need to purchase the charger separately in the box.
