iPhone 13 launch date in India and expected price: One of the most highly anticipated launch events for consumer technology is nearly here, and in a matter of hours, users can expect to see Apple launch the latest iPhone 13 series. Along with the phones, the company may also launch the new AirPods 3 as well as the Apple Watch Series 7. According to reports, the iPhone 13 series could arrive with the same design as its predecessor, except for a smaller notch and better LTPO displays with high refresh rates on the iPhone 13 Pro models.

While the iPhone 13 notch is expected to get smaller, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman expects the company to upgrade the cameras with ProRes video recording in higher quality (for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max), AI powered filters for photos, and a “video version” of Portrait Mode which is likely to be called Cinematic Video. The screen size of the iPhone 13 is expected to remain the same, but the phone could feature a new A15 chip with the same number of cores but faster performance, Gurman notes in his weekly Power On Newsletter.

The iPhone 13 is expected to launch on September 14 during the company’s California Streaming event that will take place tonight at 10:30 PM. However, there is no official announcement that the iPhone 13 series will be launched.

Customers who are looking to buy the upcoming iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be able to do so once pre-bookings for the device open up. We will update pre-booking and shipping dates for India, once the company officially announces these details.

Expected iPhone 13 price in India

Pricing for the iPhone 13 series in India is yet to be announced by Apple, and we will know more about these details once the California Streaming live event has concluded. However, according to known tipster Max Weinbach, the iPhone 13 was previously expected to be priced similarly to the iPhone 12 series. Last year, Apple priced the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max at $699, $799, $999 and $1099 respectively. However, pricing in India was higher due to taxes.

This means that users might have to pay around 79,000 for the base variant of the iPhone 13 after tax, while the iPhone 13 Pro could be priced at ₹1,19,900 for the base storage option. Similarly, the iPhone 13 mini could cost around ₹69,900 while the iPhone 13 Pro Max could cost users ₹1,29,900 – according to previous reports. However, readers must take these figures with a pinch of salt, as the official pricing could differ with these estimates with the improvements that Apple is reportedly bringing to these smartphones, such as LTPO displays with high refresh rates, faster processors and even satellite connectivity which could arrive on the Pro models sometime next year, according to Gurman.
