iPhone 14 leak: Apple is synonymous with high-end tech gadgets and luxury. Any speculation about its future plans or products have remained a constant arena of interest for the public. Many people have made predictions about their future but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has had a reliable track record, tends to be correct more often than not. Ming-Chi Kuo gave out another of his predictions about one of the upcoming Apple products, iPhone 14. He has speculated the details about the iPhone 14 selfie camera. According to him, all the four models of iPhone 14, scheduled to be launched later this year, would have an enhanced autofocus front-facing camera with an aperture of f/1.9. This is expected to be quite a huge upgrade since the previous iPhones consist of fixed focus selfie cameras with an aperture of f/2.2.
Coming back to the analyst, he has, reportedly, a reliable network of contacts in the Asian Chain of Supply for Apple. He gains his information from this chain and transcribes it into research notes for his clients. These notes give out a strong foundation for Apple’s future. However, while these predictions and information are not always correct but interestingly, his predictions have been largely reliable. However, like all rumors and leaks, you should take it with a pinch of salt as the information has not been confirmed by the company.
This upgrade will be beneficial for the apps that facilitate clicking pictures, video-calling and live-streaming services. This improvement in the aperture will result in a more augmented quality of photographs. The wider aperture would allow the sensors to pull in more light. This would in turn boost your photography skills by allowing you to capture finer daytime and low light shots. The decision of adding the feature of autofocus will definitely result in better outcomes as it enhances the subject tracking, in addition to making the depth of the field in videos and single shots exceed the expectations, especially when clicking in the portrait mode.
There are no updates about the imaging sensor size or the resolution. However, the addition of the autofocus feature is surely here to enhance the mandatory ‘selfie-experience’.
